[AISWorld] Jan 20 deadline - 6th Undergraduate Conference in Information Systems at CMU, Pittsburgh

Present your research work at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh - Saturday, Feb 27, 2015.

Faculty can coauthor papers with undergrads. We also encourage poster submissions with a short Slam presentation.  Deadline for submission is Jan 20.



The five best submissions from non-CMU institutions will be awarded a $500 travel grant each to support travel expenses of one presenting student author.



The conference theme this year, 'Humanizing IT', invites participants to reconsider the evolving role of IT in all facets of human life. A unique feature this time is our emphasis on posters accompanied by short 3 minute presentations.

The 6th Undergraduate Conference in Information Systems (UCIS) is designed to be a forum for showcasing undergraduate research work and to engage in relevant discussions with peers, faculty and experts in the IS field from around the world. Students are invited to submit posters or papers reflecting recent research projects or capstone experiences; accepted submissions will be archived online in the conference proceedings. Supervising faculty may co-author any student submissions.



This conference is sponsored by the Information Systems Program at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar and the Association for Information Systems (AIS) Qatar Chapter.
