Dear Colleague,
This is a reminder that there are only a few days left to submit your paper
abstract for presentation at the 10th Annual Conference on Health IT and
Analytics (CHITA). Friday, July 19th is the submission deadline. Also,
please note that CHITA 2019 Doctoral Consortium applications and letters of
recommendation are due on Friday, August 16th, 2019.
CHITA is an annual research summit and doctoral consortium that gathers
prominent scholars in a multi-disciplinary setting. CHITA focuses on the
increasing role, importance and impact of analytics and health information
technology in improving individual and population health, and health system
quality and performance. CHITA will be held in Washington DC, center of
health policy debates, on Friday and Saturday, November 15th-16th, 2019.
The conference will include full presentations, research round tables, and
research panels (which feature several brief presentations). As in the
past, CHITA will give awards for Best Paper, Best student-authored Paper,
and Young Researcher.
The CHITA Doctoral Consortium will be held on Thursday, November 14th, 2019.
from 1 pm to 6 pm, with a dinner following, in Washington, DC. The
invitation only Doctoral Consortium will provide an opportunity for
doctoral students to receive feedback on their research from senior
researchers, network and discuss career issues. All interested PhD students
and recent post-docs working on research in the areas of health information
systems, health economics, health informatics, clinical fields and health
policy are invited to apply. Travel support of up to $800 per Doctoral
Consortium attendee will be provided.
More conference details including the full Call for Submissions and
Doctoral Consortium Call instructions are posted at: go.umd.edu/chita2019
