Dear all,
The European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) 2022 will be held in Timișoara, Romania, from June 18 to June 24, 2022. ECIS aims to offer several special interest workshops on June 20 and 21, prior to the start of the main conference.
We invite the IS community to submit proposals for full-day or half-day workshops by December 1, 2021 (at the latest) to the Workshop Chairs.
Please send an email with your workshop proposal to wsecis2022 at e-uvt.ro<mailto:wsecis2022 at e-uvt.ro> and follow the template available here<https://www.dropbox.com/s/gphblhk6vnu9u8n/ECIS%202022%20Wshop%20template.docx?dl=0>. We plan to, as far as possible, give early feedback to workshop organisers about similar workshop proposals and enable them to consider mergers (or fine-tuning to make workshops more distinct) ahead of time. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or raise any issues you may have.
Decisions to accept/reject workshop proposals will be made by the Workshop Chairs in consultation with the Conference and Program Chairs. The number of workshops will be governed by space limitations.
The organizers of the accepted workshops will be responsible for the reviewing process and publicity (e.g., website and call for papers), where relevant, and will need to cooperate closely with the Workshop Chairs and the ECIS 2022 local organizers to finalize all organizational details.
Workshop attendees and organisers must pay the ECIS2022 workshop registration fee. If workshop attendees would also like to attend the main ECIS conference, they must also pay the conference registration fee. Workshop registrations and payments will be made via the Conference registration system, and payments to the facilities will thus be taken care of by the local ECIS organizers. Of note is that local organizers may require that all workshops adhere to specific requirements regarding the general timetable, registration and catering.
Workshop organisers must inform the Workshop Chairs of the number of submissions and acceptances as these numbers become available. Please note that the time and/or location of the workshop might be adjusted based on the number of submissions received and that workshops may be cancelled due to a lack of submissions or registrations at the early registration deadline. Only accepted workshops are official ECIS2022 workshops and will enjoy the support of the ECIS organising committee.
