*Position Description*
We are looking for candidates with strong research background to fill an
open rank professor (tenure-track) position in Information Systems starting
August 1st, 2022. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Information Systems or
a related field upon starting the position. Applicants demonstrating
outstanding potential who are doctoral students and plan to have completed
the requirements for their Ph.D. by December 2022 will also be considered.
Priority will be given to candidates whose research and teaching interests
are in the areas of digital entrepreneurship and innovation, or in one of
the other priority areas of the Faculty – equity, diversity, and inclusion
(EDI), and sustainability.



Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to advance a
cutting-edge, compelling, and impactful research agenda. They will have an
experience-appropriate record of research publications in high quality,
peer-reviewed journals, and clear promise of conducting innovative and
important research publishable in the top journals in information systems
such as those listed on our Desautels 22

The ideal candidate will have evidence of effective teaching. Our emerging
teaching needs include, but are not limited to digital entrepreneurship,
digital innovation, core IS course, project management. They are expected to
teach in our undergraduate and graduate programs.



The candidate is also expected to contribute to the administration of the
Area, Faculty and University, with a level of service activities appropriate
to the position.



The candidate will infuse his/her expertise into existing activities while
initiating new institutional efforts in one of the priority areas (digital
entrepreneurship, EDI, sustainability) related to teaching, research, and
outreach.

The Faculty currently has more than 80 tenured or tenure-track professors
and offers several degree programs at the undergraduate, masters, doctoral
and executive levels, including a BCom, an MBA, a bilingual EMBA, and a
