Macquarie University’s growing discipline of Business Analytics seeks a
Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor with scholarly expertise in
business analytics, AI, data science, and information systems.

To be successful in the role you will make a strong contribution to
research and to teaching at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
You will also proactively contribute to the efforts of the Department to
success of the discipline of business analytics and information systems and
to enhance its reputation with external audiences.

The role is open to both local and overseas applicants.


Salary Package:
o Level C, Senior Lecturer ($132,004 - $151,806),
o Associate Professor, Level D ($158,533 - $174,378),
o Professor, Level E ($194,355 - $203,543)
o Plus 17% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading
• Appointment Type: Full-time, continuing
• Location: Macquarie University (North Ryde).

Department of Actuarial Studies and Business Analytics is a provider of
business analytics education in the Australasian region and has been one of

Analytics since 2015. The Department offered Master of Business Analytics
in 2020, which has been ranked #2 in Australia and #51-60 worldwide as per 2022

The Department actively engages in and promotes research in both
qualitative and quantitative aspects of business analytics, data science
and information systems. We have expertise in a range of endeavours from
applied through to the more theoretical. Our expertise covers quantitative,
statistical and mathematical data modelling methods and qualitative methods
into investigation of organizational and societal implications of data
analytics as well as applications of artificial intelligence and technology
management. Staff are given financial support for their research endeavour.
Being a member of a large department, you will have a fair teaching load
that provides you with time to engage fully with your research.
