ITDS Doctoral Program Admissions

We invite students interested in pursuing doctoral studies in Business
Computer Information Systems, Business Information Assurance, and Management
Science, starting Fall 2023, to apply for the Ph.D. program at the
University of North Texas (UNT) G. Brint Ryan College of Business. UNT is a
Tier 1 Carnegie Research Institution located in Denton, Texas, a northern
suburb of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. It is also proud to be one of
only 21 Carnegie Tier One research universities designated a
Hispanic-Serving Institution.

 

The program is a full-time in-residence research-based program. Our students
are active members of the department, collaborating with renowned faculty as
they develop both their research and teaching abilities. 

 

Students will have the opportunity to work alongside faculty with areas of
expertise including, but not limited to:

 

*	Cybersecurity and Privacy
*	Artificial Intelligence
*	Business Analytics/Machine Learning
*	Social Media and Information Disclosure
*	Enterprise Information Systems
*	Information Technology Management
*	Modeling and Optimization

The application system is now open, and the first round of applicant reviews
will commence at the end of January, 2023. Admission to our doctoral program
is competitive. Admission decisions are made by the admission committee
through a holistic review process using a student's academic record,
experience, personal objectives provided in a "Statement of Purpose",
GMAT/GRE scores and letters of reference. Admitted Ph.D. students receive
annual stipends and tuition benefits, as well as conference travel support.
