Analytics*

The Information Systems and Business Analytics (ISBA) Department at the
College of Business at Florida International University is seeking
qualified applicants for a Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor
position in Health Informatics and Analytics. Candidates should hold a
Ph.D. in Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field of
study (e.g., health administration, industrial engineering, computer
science, statistics, operations management), and have evidence of strong
research productivity within the health informatics and analytics topic
areas (must be “SA” by AACSB standards).



The primary teaching responsibilities include teaching courses at the
graduate level in the MS in Health Informatics and Analytics (HIA) program.
The department is specifically interested in candidates with experience and
expertise in clinical information systems, consumer health informatics and
healthcare project management. Evidence of research productivity is
required. Relevant experience in industry is preferable. The 9-month course
load will be a 2 + 2 equivalent course load. Additional summer teaching
opportunities may be available. Salary will be competitive, and
commensurate with experience and qualifications.

or the MBA in Healthcare program. The department is specifically interested
in candidates with experience and expertise in leveraging IT for healthcare
emergency and disaster management. Evidence of research productivity is
required. Relevant experience in industry is preferable. The 9-month course
