I am delighted to share this recently published article. Our research investigated why some cybersecurity best practices do not add value despite being widely implemented in organizations today. By interviewing over 30 cybersecurity executives and practitioners, we offer insights on the operationalization of five cybersecurity best practices. It was an honor collaborating and coauthoring the paper with Prof. Öykü Işık and practitioner Daniela Almeida Lourenço.
