Visiting Faculty Position in Information Systems

The Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business embraces the idea that business needs technology to change the world. The Information Systems Area, in the Department of Management, in the Daniels School of Business, spearheads the education of tomorrow’s business leaders in the digital transformation that is revolutionizing 21st century business.

With several programs excelling at both undergraduate and graduate levels, we have exciting opportunities for faculty who thrive in the development and mentorship of students who will be future leaders of business and technology.

We are seeking to fill a visiting faculty position, starting in Fall 2024 (January 2025 negotiable).  A Ph.D. is strongly preferred; however, a candidate with a master’s degree with significant industry experience will be considered.

Opportunities exist in the following areas:


  *   Intro Information Systems / Business Digital Transformation
  *   Unstructured Data/Deep Learning in Business Applications
  *   Emerging Technologies and Business Innovations (LLMs, Blockchain, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications
Education

  *   A Ph.D. in a related discipline is strongly preferred; however, a candidate with a master’s degree with significant industry experience will be considered.

Experience
The ideal candidate for this position will be passionate about creating a positive impact on business and society through technology with concrete, proven examples; especially in the opportunity areas listed above.
