Then you’re in luck, because the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly is currently seeking applicants for a full-time, tenure track, academic year position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the primary area of Information Systems (IS). Preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated track record or evidence of potential in both teaching and research. The position is designed to strengthen Cal Poly’s on-going efforts in enhancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) climate, thus the candidate is expected to incorporate a DEI emphasis in instruction, research, and service.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate exemplary teaching, a strong publication record and research pipeline, and currency in their professional field. The successful candidate must have completed or close of the completion of a doctorate or equivalent degree in Information Systems or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution. The PhD/DBA should be awarded by the time of appointment in Fall 2025. Must have the ability to work with diverse students, colleagues and/or engaging diversity in the curriculum and/or research.
