Assistant/Associate Professor of Operations, Information and Technology at IESE
IESE Business School invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in the Operations, Information and Technology department, at the assistant or (untenured) associate levels, starting in September 2025. We are seeking candidates with a PhD in Information Systems, Operations Management, or a related area, who are committed to excellence in research and teaching. The candidates are expected to develop a rigorous, relevant and impactful research career, with publications in leading academic journals. Although the position is open to individuals from any research subfield and methodology, candidates working in topics related to technology, data, or in the interface of Information Systems and Operations Management are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates must also be able to teach at the master's and MBA levels and in executive education programs.
IESE is a top-ranked international graduate business school with its main campuses in Barcelona and Madrid. It offers a Master's in Management, a two-year MBA program, and several executive programs, both at the national and international levels, as well as a PhD program. The school has been consistently ranked among the top schools internationally, including #2 in the World in Executive Education and #3 MBA in the World by the Financial Times in 2023, as well as #1 MBA in the World by the Economist in 2021. The school has additional campuses in New York, Munich, and Sao Paulo, and offers the opportunity to teach in many different countries.
IESE has a tenure system similar to the top schools in the US and salaries are competitive. In addition, the school offers excellent family policies and fringe benefits. More information about the school can be found at https://www.iese.edu<https://www.iese.edu/>.
Applicants should submit a research statement, a teaching statement, a curriculum vitae, copies of selected publications, three letters of recommendation, and a cover letter. The deadline for submitting applications is November 8; we have already begun reviewing applications, so early applications are welcome.
The department will be conducting interviews both online and at ICIS; applicants attending ICIS should let us know that they're attending and include their presentation schedule.
To apply, submit your materials through https://apply.interfolio.com/151299.
Please contact Ms. Sònia García (sgarcias at iese.edu<http://sgarcias@iese.edu>), on or after September 2, for enquiries and/or additional information.
