James Madison University is hiring for a 1-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Department of Computer Information Systems & Business Analytics, to begin Fall 2025. Position #20000739.
The primary teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses such as business analytics, business statistics, decision sciences, operations management, Python, R, or other related subjects. The typical teaching load is 3/3. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in academic and community service for the department, college, university, and the profession. The department fosters a collegial and collaborative team environment that supports student success and faculty development and growth.
JMU is a Carnegie Classification R2 Doctoral University with high research activity located in the heart of Virginia's beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The city of Harrisonburg is approximately 120 miles from Washington, D.C. and Richmond, VA.
