"Knowledge Organization in Exceptional Times ", the 7th biennial ISKO UK Conference, will be held online from 12-16 July 2021.

This ISKO UK conference addresses challenges and opportunities during periods of dramatic change. These can be brought about by pandemics, political change, conflicts, social unrest or technological innovation. This conference will explore the role of knowledge organization in helping people, organization and societies to adapt to change.



The conference aims to bridge the divide between theory and practice and we welcome submissions from both practitioners and researchers in knowledge organization.  We are looking for papers and/or presentations and posters that will attract a global audience of researchers, practitioners, teachers, and developers. Your proposed paper or presentation should help to deepen the understanding of knowledge organization, describe challenges, innovations and advances in the field, or speculate about the potential of KO to bring progress and benefits.
