[SIGHCI] Call for Papers: ACM CHIIR 2026 – Human Information Interaction and Retrieval

The ACM SIGIR Conference on Human Information Interaction and Retrieval
(CHIIR – pronounced “cheer”) will take place March 22–26, 2026 in Seattle,
Washington, USA.

CHIIR focuses on user-centered approaches to information access and
retrieval; where IR meets HCI. We welcome submissions that explore human
interaction with information systems, from interfaces and evaluation
methods to user behavior and novel interaction paradigms.

CHIIR values both quantitative and qualitative methods and is proud to

venue welcoming contributions from IR, HCI, psychology, cognitive science,
education, and related fields.
