We are delighted to announce the Call for Submissions for BCS BritCHI 2026!
Now in its 39th year, the British Computer Society Conference on Human-Computer Interaction is the UK’s leading annual conference in human-computer interaction, bringing together researchers, practitioners, designers, industry leaders, and doctoral students to share innovative research and practice in HCI.
The conference is the home of British HCI: a place to meet, share ideas, network, build collaborations, and learn from one another. It offers a welcoming environment for all members of the community, from early-career researchers to established leaders, to connect, contribute, and shape the future of HCI in the UK and beyond.
This year the conference will be held between 1-3 November 2026, and hosted at Brunel University of London, making it highly accessible by tube, train, air, and road, and within easy reach of the city centre.
We invite original submissions across all areas of human-computer interaction, including (but not limited to):
* Interaction design and user experience
* Human-AI interaction
* Accessibility and inclusive design
* Ethics and responsible innovation
* Health and wellbeing technologies
* Emerging interfaces and embodied interaction
