Call for Papers:

The 6th China Summer Workshop on Information Management (CSWIM 2012,
http://process.lerner.udel.edu/cswim2012/index.html) will be held in
Beijing, China on June 30th and July 1, 2012. It will be hosted by the
School of Management and Economics at Beijing Institute of Technology
(http://sme.bit.edu.cn/). The purpose of the workshop is to create a
bridge to promote lively exchange and collaborations between information
systems scholars in China and other countries, and to advance our
understandings of how information systems and technologies affect
individuals, businesses, organizations, and societies.

We welcome submissions of original research papers addressing issues
concerning the theory, design, development, evaluation, and application of
information systems and management. Because it is a research workshop,
CSWIM encourages submissions of research-in-progress that are innovative
and thought-provoking. Research articles particularly sought after are
those driven by real-world business problems and validated with proper
research methodologies. The relevant topics include, but are not limited
to, the following:

Cloud Computing in E-Business
Data Mining and Business Intelligence
E-Commerce
Economics of IS and IT

All papers must be prepared in English and submitted through the workshop
online paper submission system. A template that contains the detailed
formatting instructions for the preparation of paper submissions is
available under ‘Author Guidelines’ on the workshop Web site. All of the
submitted papers will be blindly reviewed. Should you have any questions,
please feel free to contact workshop co-chairs. We look forward to meeting
you in the workshop.

Deadline for paper submission: March 31, 2012
Notification of Acceptance: May 10, 2012
Deadline for final camera-ready version of accepted papers: May 31, 2012
Deadline for early registration: May 31, 2012
Workshop date: June 30 and July 1, 2012
