Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (Post Doc) - with a focus on Health Systems Innovation
The School of Entrepreneurship, the Spears School of Business, and the Center for Health Sciences at Oklahoma State University invites applications for Post-Doctoral Fellows for the newly formed Center for Health Systems Innovation (CHSI).  Candidates must have research interests in health systems innovation, health IT, analytics in health, medical informatics, health entrepreneurship and health promotion/public health.  Oklahoma State University is a land-grant university.  The Spears School of Business is a leading business school located in Stillwater, OK. The Center for Health Sciences, which is based in Tulsa, OK, consists of the College of Osteopathic Medicine and related programs and clinics.  The newly formed Center for Health Systems Innovation will be located in Stillwater with a satellite office in Tulsa.
The vision for the Center for Health Systems Innovation is to become a leading conduit to discover and implement market-based solutions for the transformation of health care and health care systems through creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.  The center will resemble a think tank and will produce white papers, journal articles, articles that will be published in practitioner outlets, and related material and initiatives in the health care systems domain.  Initially, the center will rely heavily on a mix of visiting scholars, scholars and practitioners who work with the center on a virtual basis, and post-doctoral fellows.  The key focus of the center will be a systems approach to business model innovation using information and communication technology as key enablers.

Working Task / Qualification
The Research Fellow will conduct research and play an active role in the continued development of CHSI. The position is full-time and requires a Ph.D. degree (in a relevant discipline for advanced health innovation research, such as business administration entrepreneurship/innovation, information systems management, informatics, strategic management, systems thinking, engineering, economics, sociology or other related disciplines) and demonstrated efforts to remain abreast of the advances and current trends in health systems innovation. Appointments are for a term of one year but candidates are eligible for reappointment.
Post doc academic performance is an additional qualification. The candidate is expected to have a strong international orientation. We require a professional command of English.
In making the selection, importance will be given to achievements, experiences and/or ambitions of the applicant in the following areas:

*         Capacity and interest to engage in academic research at the highest level and an emergent record of international publications (especially in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed journals).

*         Research experience with issues related to one or several of the following broad areas of  health systems innovation, health IT, analytics in health, medical informatics or health entrepreneurship

*         Interest in building networks and collaborates with researchers/research centers in several countries.

*         Ability and willingness to engage in joint research projects and team activities.

*         Experience of teaching and ability to communicate with academic and professional audiences.
