The Department of Management, Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri - Kansas City invites applications for a full-time tenure track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in Management Information Systems (MIS) starting in Fall 2014.  We are open to excellent applicants specializing in any subarea of MIS. Rank will be based on qualifications and experience.

We are looking for candidates with:


*                    An earned doctorate in Information Systems or a closely related field (or who expect to complete the Ph.D. by August 2014).


*                    A record of publications (or exhibit strong potential for developing a record of publications) in high impact Information Systems journals


*                    Demonstrated capability or potential for outstanding teaching effectiveness at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Familiarity with various teaching pedagogies and tools for experiential learning such as case studies and simulations.

The review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. An employment starting date of August 2014 is desired. A representative from the department will be available to meet with selected candidates at ICIS 2013.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
