Tenure-Track Associate Professor/Assistant Professor (2 posts)

in Business Analytics

Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Associate
Professor/Assistant Professor (2 posts) in Business Analytics in the School
of Business, to commence on July 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter,
on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal.

launched the Master of Science in Business Analytics Programme. Information
about the programme can be obtained from http://msba.business.hku.hk/.  

 

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, Operations Management, Statistics, or a closely related
data-analytics discipline.  The School is particularly interested in those
who conduct high-quality scholarly research and are able to teach courses in
business analytics and related areas.  Those who have experience in teaching
Masters or MBA courses will be considered at the Associate Professor level.


 

A globally competitive remuneration package commensurate with the
appointee's qualifications and experience will be offered.  At current
rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment
will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a
retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as
leave, and medical benefits.  Housing benefits will be provided as
applicable.
