The International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) and its Senior Scholars will be presenting their "Best IS Publications of the Year Awards” to five journal articles published in 2010. The presentations will be made at ICIS in Shanghai.

An editor-in-chief may nominate an IS article from his or her journal by sending a digital copy of the article to either Allen S. Lee (at allenslee at alum.mit.edu) or Fred Niederman (at niederfa at slu.edu).

Only one article published in 2010 may be nominated from any journal. Nominations will be open through June 30, 2011, for articles published in the 2010 calendar year.

Members of the Best IS Publications of the Year Awards committee will select the five best papers. The months of July and August are designated for reviewing the nominated papers, commenting on them, and voting. Any committee member who as an editor nominated a paper or who authored a nominated paper will not participate in the consideration of that paper. The five best papers will not be ranked in their announcement at ICIS.

The award will reflect the article's contribution to theory in the IS field, its contribution to practice in the IS field, the uniqueness/originality of its ideas, and the quality of its arguments.

The members of this year’s Best IS Publications of the Year Awards committee are:

Phillip Ein Dor, Tel-Aviv University

Chris Kemerer, University of Pittsburgh
